Message from the Director of Graduate Studies

Welcome to the Department of Child and Family Studies (CFS)! We are a collaborative multidisciplinary department with a vibrant research culture and strong sense of community. We have two Master of Science degree options and a stellar PhD program that offer students the opportunity to work with and be trained by our internationally recognized faculty. Together, students and faculty in CFS share a strong commitment to intellectual inquiry, diversity and inclusion, methodological rigor, and public scholarship. Our programs are designed to train highly competent scientists who will make significant contributions to society as researchers, educators, and professionals.
