Megan Haselschwerdt Named CEHHS DEI Faculty Fellow

CEHHS DEI Faculty Fellow Announcement

The College of Education, Health, and Human Sciences’ Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (CEHHS DEI) welcomes Megan Haselschwerdt, associate professor in Child and Family Studies, as the 2022-23 CEHHS DEI Faculty Fellow. Megan is an inaugural member of the CEHHS DEI Advisory Board.

Along with her research team of graduate and undergraduate students and faculty collaborators, Megan studies intimate partner violence (IPV) from the perspective of adults, children exposed to violence in their family of origin, and social service providers working with adult survivors and children. Megan teaches courses on child and family diversity, child and family stress, family theories, and qualitative research methods. She is currently the inaugural chair of the Child and Family Studies’ Diversity Action Committee.

Haselschwerdt will succeed Jennifer Jabson Tree, who served as the inaugural CEHHS DEI faculty fellow.
