The highlight of my practicum experience has been learning about the services that strive to make a difference to the families in our city. Today I went to a KAPPI (Knoxville Adolescent Partners in Prevention Initiative) and there were at least 6 organizations represented there that were making plans to educate the community about adolescent sexual activity. It was really great.
I am surprised at how much I love my placement. The people that I work with are so encouraging and I am adjusting my future goals and they all did the same thing and they love what they do.
