Our PreK-3 interns visited the Alex Haley Children’s Defense Fund Farm on Monday! Alex Haley Farm librarian, Theresa Venable, was their gracious host. The Children’s Defense Fund and its many programs have transformed Haley Farm into a vibrant training ground and place for spiritual renewal and intergenerational, interdisciplinary, interfaith and interracial communication to prepare new leaders for children and the poor.
