Study Abroad in Denmark–May 2015

Parenting-Books
Dr. Heidi Stolz will be offering a faculty-led study abroad course, “Parenting in Global Perspective”, in Copenhagen, Denmark–one of the most family-friendly countries in the world!

During summer session 1 (May 25 – June 12, 2015), students will spend 3 weeks studying parenting and families. Students will earn 3 credits (counted as CFS 460, CFS 581, or SOC 491). For undergraduates, this can count toward your undergraduate major as an Advanced Social Science Elective or as a Specialty Area course. For graduate students, this can count toward your program of study as one of the three required CFS courses. It’s open to all majors and has no prerequisites, so bring a friend from another degree program!

More details are included on the attached flyer, and even more info (including a budget) is posted on the Programs Abroad website https://studyabroad.utk.edu (click on “find a program,” then put “parenting” in the program name box). You can apply the HOPE scholarship if you take 6 summer credits, and you can apply for a Center for International Education (CIE) Scholarship.

Please email Dr. Heidi Stolz (hstolz@utk.edu) or stop by the Parenting Education Lab (JHB 102).
