Carole McDonald

Undergraduate Secretary

Carole serves as the Undergraduate Program staff contact in the Department of Child and Family Studies at the University of Tennessee where she has been since 1993. Before attending UT for several years as a psychology major, Carole used the experience she gained working in Children’s Theatre at the UT Carousel Theatre, and spent a summer working as a wardrobe assistant and a film extra with Landau Productions who filmed the civil war era film “The Fool Killer” in Knoxville, Cades Cove, and Wears Valley, TN. While a student she spent an entire summer traveling with the US touring cast of Sing Out ’66 Up With People doing patriotic shows at Army and Air Force bases, as well as civic performances. Carole has been married to Eden for 39 years, has a son, Matthew, and a recently married daughter, Leigh Anne, an Urban and Regional Planner in Chapel Hill, NC. Pleasure derived from: studying family genealogy, walking historical home tours, and starting a collection of interesting old books.
