Meet Elizabeth at East Knox County Elementary School!
I wanted to complete my internship at a school that would prepare me to teach in many different educational settings, so I was so excited when I was placed at East Knox County Elementary School. Teaching in this school community has provided me a variety of different experiences to work with many children and families.
Prior to beginning my internship, I was concerned about not having much teaching experience in a public elementary school. After the first day at my internship, these concerns disappeared because of the welcoming and supportive staff at East Knox Elementary.
My biggest accomplishment so far at my internship has been being able to make connections with the children at East Knox Elementary, and helping them work through their struggles to meet their learning goals.
